MY HOME IS WHEREVER I AM COLLECTING MY MAIL …
I have always had the soul of a Gypsy. I may stay a moment somewhere but the road is always calling me. There is so much to experience in this life, people to meet, stories to share, wonders to be explored and roads to be traveled.
I was raised in Alaska in the early ’70’s which is where my adventurous spirit and my athletic background began. I started playing Ice Hockey at 6 and continued into High School where I also did track and field, cross country running and Nordic skiing. Growing up in the wild land of the Midnight Sun, I learned how to fish, hunt, snow machine race, dog mushing and extreme condition camping.
I discovered weight lifting in 1984 and I did my first bodybuilding contest in 1986, the Nevada State held at the beautiful original MGM Grand Hotel in Reno Nevada. Tom Platz was the guest poser and I got to actually meet him.
I competed for two years till I had a downhill skiing accident and tore my ACL. I would not return to competitive bodybuilding till 2008.
In the years between 1988 and 2008 I had many adventures. I became a Master Hairstylist, a heavy equipment operator, traveled from Alaska to Mexico, lived in a tent on the beach in the Baja for 5 months fishing and surfing, owned a race horse, wrote a book and drove from coast to coast numerous times. Sometimes I would find a place to hang for a little while, but then my wander lust would kick in and I would hear the road calling to me, and I knew it was time to travel on. Whenever someone asks “where do you call home?” I smile and say, “wherever I am picking up my mail today”.
In 2008 I was living in Boise Idaho and a strange set of circumstances brought me back to the gym and to Bodybuilding. I lost a house that I had bought during the housing bubble and I ended up staying in a small studio above the Salon I owned. The Studio didn’t have a shower so I joined a Gym that was close by. The rest is history as they say! I competed in the NPC for 10 years and in 2018 I reach my IFBB pro status. I have competed as a Pro for 4 years. I am taking a small break from competing as I heal from injuries that needed attention. In the mean time, I get to add some more stamps to my passport and enjoy a few more adventures, I hope you will join me! You can call me or follow me through my OnlyFans
